Pictured above "Fancy" received her second and third majors to complete her championship at the Rose City Cluster in Portland, Oregon. The majors were awarded by Mr. Luiz Silva from Brazil and Mr. Michael Sosne. Many thinks to these judges for finding our beautiful "Fancy."

Cottonwood's Vanilla Sky at Coreymore, "Fancy," was Winners Bitch at Madera Canyon KC in Tucson, AZ on November 9 and 10, 2012. Pictured above winning under judge Arlene Davis, Fancy was awarded a three point major. At the present time, Fancy needs five points including a major to finish her championship. She was 14 months old at the time of this win.

The Carbajals are thrilled to have Nori among the Coreymore Whippet family. Davis, the sire, is a well traveled dog; he is a Champion in four countries. He won the Stud Dog Class at the 2001 National Speciality. Mom, Emma, can claim 3 Best in Shows, 4 Independent Specialty BIS, 17 Group I Placements, and being the winner of the 2001 AWC Top Twenty among other nice wins during her show career.

Nori joined the other Coreymore Whippets in March of 2003. She is pictured above at 8 weeks of age, and directly below at 16 weeks.

On her first weekend in the 9-12 month puppy classes, at the Lizard Butte Kennel Club show, Nori was Best of Breed over Male Specials (judge Clayton Coady) and Puppy Hound Group Winner (judge Janice Schreiber) for 2 points. (Photo below.) The very next day at the Capitol City Kennel Club show, Nori was WB and BOS for two more points (judge Diane Malenfant). Both shows were held in Boise, ID.


Here she is again (below, left) at the Rogue Valley Kennel Club in Merlin, Oregon on May 15, 2004, where Judge Patricia Trotter chose 15-month old Nori as WB, BOW, BOS over bitch specials. Nori finished on January 16, 2005 at the Puyallup Dog Fanciers show in Puyallup, WA, when Judge Michael Koss from Georgia found Nori worthy of a 4-point major and Best of Winners. By October of 2005, Nori earned several breed wins including this one (below, right) at Mount Bachelor KC in Redmond, Oregon. The judge was Ms. Monica Canestrini.

Lily Winning 2002 AWC Futurity

"Lily" is shown above winning the 10-12 month puppy bitch class at the American Whippet Club National Futurity in Denver, Colorado, in April 2002. She was one week over 10 months of age. The Futurity judge was breeder/handler Debi Adams. Below is Lily winning a 4-pt. major at Nisqually Kennel Club's show in Lacey, Washington, August 2002. She finished with another 4-pt. major win (WB and BOW) on Sunday, February 15, 2004, at Linn County Kennel Club in Albany, OR (judge Nancy Byrd). The Carbajals eagerly anticipated the arrival of spring 2004, when Lily was bred to Ch. Chelsea Where There's Smoke. Please see the Litters page for more information.
